Bigscreen has unveiled the Bigscreen Beyond 2, an improved version of its ultra-lightweight PC VR headset. The new model enhances lens quality, reduces weight, and introduces an adjustable IPD system, making it even more comfortable and visually immersive.
Sleek, Lightweight, and Powerful
The original Bigscreen Beyond set new standards for compact VR headsets, weighing only 127 grams (excluding the head strap and face pad). The Beyond 2 refines this further by cutting the weight by 16% to just 107 grams, making it even lighter while maintaining its high-end PC VR performance.
Enhanced Optics and Customization
One of the standout features of the Bigscreen Beyond 2 is its upgraded pancake lenses, which offer:
✅ Larger field of view (comparable to Quest 3)
✅ Higher clarity from edge to edge
✅ Reduced glare and improved brightness
The dual Micro-OLED displays remain unchanged, boasting 2,560 x 2,560 pixels per eye. The full resolution is achieved at 75 Hz, while 90 Hz mode uses upscaling to maintain visual quality.
A new interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment system now allows users to fine-tune the lens positioning separately for each eye, improving comfort and clarity.
More Comfort with the Optional Halo Mount
Bigscreen is introducing a Halo Mount accessory in Q3 2025, inspired by night vision goggles. This new attachment will allow users to wear the headset without requiring a custom face scan. Options include:

Eye Tracking & Foveated Rendering Support
