“He was a private, quiet person but incredibly generous. If he committed to something, he always followed through,” she said.

She described his passing as a “total shock and loss,” emphasizing how deeply he will be missed.

“I shall remember him as a kind, thoughtful, and always pleasant individual. He was a huge benefit to the association for many years, and we will be lucky to see his like again.”

As investigations continue into the tragic incident, tributes continue to pour in for Riches, remembering him as a dedicated community member and a man of unwavering generosity.
